Sorry, another photo of my fridge photos. My Mum pointed out recently that it didn't go unnoticed that I didn't have a picture of her on there! Mum, your photos were with some others on the bookshelf beside the fridge, but I moved one of them onto the fridge for safe keeping! It's one of my favourites, a photo of Mum, my sister Jade and myself when Mum, Dad and I went into northern Pakistan to suprise Jade for her birthday. It was a very good trip, and memories that are very special to me.
The boys make it across the finish line in Verbier. They were all exhausted, but very happy to have completed the race, and we were all very proud of their massive achievement.
My first visit to Zermatt. We came for the start of the Patrouille des Glaciers, a big ski race that they boys (Karl, Matt and JP) are competing in. It starts here in Zermatt and finishes in Verbier tomorrow. While the boys were resting before their 10pm start time, I went for a walk around town. I loved how warm and inviting these chairs looked with their soft furs to keep you warm!
The boys decided to cut down a tree that causes trouble on the driveway in the winter. If you look closely you can see Bert with his chainsaw, and the tree being pulled over by the boys who were standing up by the hostel.
The light seems different now that the winter is leaving. Or maybe it's the ash cloud??? Just kidding.
It was our first wedding anniversay today! We celebrated by going to Friburg to see an exhibition of the World Sustainable Architecture Awards.
I didn't get up to anything too exciting today, although I did hang new blinds on the kitchen windows to help with the bright spring sun.
