Walking down to the village shop for some bread a milk before the dreaded midday closure, I passed one of the dreaded hills in the village. Look at the path up to the left. It doesn't seem too bad in the photo, but I would only dare attempt this path in the summer, and even then, I can barely breath by the top. Nothing like altitude and steep mountain footpaths! We got some very happy news today. Will wait to see if it all pans out before I blog about it, but it was a good day. In the evening, I had dinner with Jodi and Elizabeth. Elizabeth nearly got more than she bargained for when a large piece of timber fell out of the ceiling and missed her head by centimetres!May 6, 2010
I went up to Anna and DJ's place tonight to help Anna set up her new office. All went without a hitch until this last drawer. Anna and Elizabeth were getting a closer look at the problem.
Oscar was our site manager, and kept a watchful eye on proceedings from his office.

The valley is so green at the moment, it's really incredible. Maybe it is only soimpressive after months of seeing bare trees and ground covered in snow.

In rolled the fog. It can stay for days up here, and they are predicting a long foggy, cold spell for us up on the hill.
